, abstract = {At the University of Bath, the tracking, archiving and sharing of research data is handled by two complementary systems. A Current Research Information System (CRIS) helps to put datasets into their proper context, so they appear as first-class scholarly outputs on researcher and project reports. A separate Research Data Archive provides a more detailed catalogue of these datasets and acts as a repository for datasets not held externally. In this presentation, Alex Ball shares his experiences and lessons learned from working with these systems, and explains how they interoperate with the wider research data ecosystem.}
